Description
This evening clutch is black, small, soft and beautifully made. Every bead and sequin is hand sewn (and some are so tiny!). The label tells the story of this jewel of a vintage evening purse; it says: “Hand Made in The Crown Colony of Hong Kong”. (The agreement – Joint Sino-British Declaration – to sign Hong Kong over to China has been signed in 1984 by Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Zhao Ziyang.)
The clutch is a joy to look at and a pleasure to touch….

Condition vintage: the exterior is – generally speaking – in good condition, but there are sequins missing on one bottom corner (about one square inch but the blind spot is NOT noticeable). The interior (black-lined with one side pocket) is a different story. It is a bit worn and has visible signs of use and make up. Then again, this evening clutch is more antique than vintage….
